The Challenge

Wonda Creation had zero digital presence despite offering premium vegan chocolate in the competitive Swiss market. They existed purely offline—no Instagram, no Facebook, no visual identity online. For a consumer brand in 2024, this invisibility was a critical business problem. Potential customers couldn't discover them, existing customers couldn't follow their story, and the brand had no way to communicate its values around sustainability, veganism, and Swiss craftsmanship. Without a digital footprint, they were missing out on an entire generation of conscious consumers who research brands online before purchasing.

Our Role

We handled all social media management, building Wonda's entire digital presence from the ground up. This meant opening and setting up all social accounts, defining the visual content strategy, creating and designing all posts, managing campaigns, and growing the follower base organically.

The Approach

Our strategy centered on creating a warm, inviting visual identity that connected emotionally to both chocolate and Swiss heritage. Vegan products can sometimes feel clinical or overly health-focused—we wanted Wonda to feel indulgent, comforting, and aspirational. The approach was to build authentic engagement with local Swiss audiences through relatable content that balanced product storytelling with lifestyle moments, leveraging Switzerland's strong cultural identity around quality and craftsmanship.

Discovery & Research

We started by analyzing the Swiss vegan chocolate market and identifying Wonda's competitors on social media. Most brands either went hyper-minimalist (sterile white backgrounds, product-only shots) or overly earthy (heavy greens, granola aesthetic). We spotted an opportunity: create a visual identity that feels premium and warm, like traditional Swiss chocolate branding, but with modern vegan values. We researched what Swiss Instagram users engage with—alpine landscapes, cozy moments, quality craftsmanship—and identified that storytelling around ingredients, process, and Swiss identity would resonate more than generic vegan messaging. The key insight: Swiss consumers are proud of local brands and will support them if the quality and authenticity are clear.

Design & Development

We built a content calendar mixing product showcases, behind-the-scenes production content, ingredient stories, and lifestyle moments that positioned Wonda as part of everyday Swiss life. For visual design, we developed a warm color palette—rich browns, soft creams, touches of green—that evoked chocolate while staying fresh and modern. We designed all posts in Figma before publishing, ensuring consistent typography, spacing, and brand feel. Photography direction focused on natural lighting, close-up textures, and hands interacting with products to create intimacy. We launched campaigns around Swiss holidays and seasonal moments (alpine hiking season, cozy winter evenings) to tap into cultural touchpoints. The caption strategy balanced educational content (vegan ingredient benefits, production transparency) with emotional storytelling (childhood chocolate memories reimagined for conscious living). Growth tactics were purely organic—no paid ads, just consistent posting, strategic hashtags targeting Swiss locals, engagement with the vegan community, and collaborations with local Swiss micro-influencers who aligned with the brand values.

Final Design

The final social presence established Wonda Creation as a warm, authentic Swiss vegan chocolate brand with a cohesive visual identity across all platforms. The content strategy successfully balanced premium product showcasing with relatable lifestyle storytelling, creating an emotional connection with local Swiss audiences. The warm aesthetic differentiated Wonda from clinical vegan competitors while maintaining modern appeal, and organic growth tactics built a genuinely engaged community of hundreds of local followers who actively interact with posts and drive website traffic.

Results & Outcomes

What We Learned

This project reinforced that building a brand from zero digitally requires relentless consistency and authenticity—audiences can smell inauthenticity immediately, especially in the conscious consumer space. We learned that the Swiss market deeply values local identity and craftsmanship, and tapping into cultural pride is more effective than generic vegan messaging. The biggest surprise was how much organic growth is still possible without paid ads if the content genuinely resonates and the visual identity is strong. If we were starting over, we'd invest more time upfront in user research with Swiss vegan consumers to understand their specific content preferences—we built the strategy largely on competitor analysis and intuition, which worked, but direct customer insights would have accelerated growth. This experience fundamentally shaped our understanding of building consumer brands on social media: consistent visual identity + authentic storytelling + cultural relevance beats flashy campaigns every time.
