The Challenge

Certus Solutions, a comprehensive business solutions provider offering everything from call center operations to digital lead generation, faced a critical visibility problem—their diverse service portfolio was invisible on social media. In the B2B space, this meant potential clients couldn't discover them through digital channels, existing relationships had no platform for ongoing engagement, and the company had no way to demonstrate expertise or build thought leadership. The challenge was unique: how do you create compelling social content for a multi-service B2B company without diluting the brand or confusing audiences? Most business solutions companies either post generic corporate content that nobody engages with, or fragment their messaging so much that there's no cohesive brand identity. Certus needed a social presence that conveyed professional credibility while showcasing the breadth of their capabilities.

Our Role

We handled all social media management, building Certus Solutions' entire social media presence from the ground up. This meant opening and configuring all social accounts, defining the content strategy across multiple service lines, creating and designing all posts, managing campaigns, and growing the follower base organically.

The Approach

Our strategy centered on positioning Certus as a trusted, versatile business partner through educational content and professional storytelling. Instead of treating each service as a separate entity, we focused on creating a unified brand narrative: Certus solves business challenges across multiple domains. The approach was to build credibility through value-driven content—sharing insights, case study highlights, and industry knowledge that demonstrated expertise without aggressive selling. We prioritized professional polish and consistency over high-frequency posting, recognizing that B2B decision-makers value quality and substance over viral trends.

Discovery & Research

We started by analyzing how B2B business solutions companies approach social media, and the landscape was disappointing—most either post dry corporate announcements that get zero engagement, or try to force B2B services into consumer-style content that feels inauthentic. We researched what actually drives engagement in B2B social: educational value, clear demonstrations of expertise, relatable business challenges, and professional storytelling. Through conversations with Certus leadership, we identified that their competitive advantage is versatility—they offer integrated solutions across call center, digital marketing, and lead generation rather than siloed services. The key insight: instead of treating social media as a promotional channel, position it as a knowledge-sharing platform that builds trust and demonstrates capability. B2B buyers research extensively before engaging—social content should answer their questions and establish Certus as the expert they want to work with.

Design & Development

We built a content calendar that balanced service education, industry insights, client success stories, and company culture moments. For visual design, we developed a professional, modern aesthetic that feels credible without being corporate-stiff—clean layouts, consistent typography, strategic use of brand colors, and high-quality imagery. We designed all posts in Figma before publishing, ensuring visual consistency across different content types. The content strategy addressed each service line (call center, lead generation, digital solutions) on a rotating basis while maintaining a unified brand voice. We created educational carousel posts explaining complex services in digestible formats, client success highlight posts demonstrating real results, industry insight posts positioning Certus as thought leaders, and behind-the-scenes content humanizing the business solutions industry. Campaign planning focused on seasonal business cycles—helping companies with year-end planning, Q1 growth strategies, and summer operational optimization. Growth tactics were primarily organic: strategic hashtags targeting business decision-makers, engagement with relevant business communities, thought leadership content that drives shares, and consistent posting schedules that build audience trust over time.

Final Design

The final social presence established Certus Solutions as a credible, knowledgeable business partner with a cohesive professional identity across all platforms. The content strategy successfully balanced educational value with service showcasing, creating engagement from business decision-makers seeking solutions. The polished visual identity differentiated Certus from generic B2B competitors while maintaining professional authority, and the organic content approach built a genuinely engaged audience of potential clients and industry peers.

What We Learned

This project reinforced that B2B social media success requires fundamentally different strategies than consumer brands—business decision-makers don't want entertainment, they want value and expertise. We learned that multi-service companies can maintain cohesive social identities by focusing on overarching brand values rather than individual service promotion. The biggest challenge was resisting the temptation to over-promote—B2B audiences disengage from aggressive selling but respond enthusiastically to educational content that solves their problems. The surprise was how much engagement thoughtful, professional content can generate even in traditionally "boring" industries—business solutions aren't inherently uninteresting, they're just rarely communicated in compelling ways. If we were starting over, we'd invest more time upfront interviewing Certus clients to understand their specific pain points and decision-making processes—this customer insight would have made the educational content even more targeted and valuable. This experience fundamentally shaped our understanding of B2B social media: credibility + value + consistency beats frequency + trends + promotion every time.
